Do you have your own photography team?
Photography is a coordinated service, so the council arranges coverage with specialist photographers and crews rather than shooting with an in-house team. What we handle is the shot list and coverage schedule, and agreeing the editing and delivery formats with the crew assigned to the event.
What does the coverage actually include?
Coverage runs to event photography, video and interviews, plus a highlights edit and social clips when you ask for them. The scope is fixed beforehand through a shot list and coverage schedule, so the moments that matter are accounted for before the day itself. That is why we start from the event type, location and duration.
When do we get the photos and video?
Delivery timing is agreed before the event as part of the delivery and editing formats, and no single schedule applies to every shoot. Tell us the date you need the material by along with the content formats, because the amount of editing and the number of clips change what can sensibly be agreed.
The material will run on our own channels. Does that change the shoot?
Yes, and that is why intended channels are one of the things we ask about before the shoot: material cut for social platforms is filmed and edited differently from material meant for internal use. Send the channels with the event type and duration, and the shot list and coverage schedule are built from there.
